Cravings… My twist for #elf4health

Post image for Cravings… My twist for #elf4health

Today’s challenge was to treat yourself to something you’ve been craving.

The more I thought about that, I thought of all the things I’ve been waiting. Fudge, cookies, chocolate (notice the trend) and then I realized, that I’m not feeling deprived of them.  What I am feeling deprived of, is some quality time with hubs.  So I’ve decided that tomorrow, on our day off, I’m really just going to disconnect (as much as I can ;) ) and enjoy the time we have together.  Whether it’s laying in bed ignoring the alarm, taking a walk or even when we’re sitting waiting for my oil change.  We don’t often have days off together, and we find ourselves spending our work evenings working. Being in the same room is nice, but working detracts from each other.

So that’s my plan.  Give in to my need for some quality time with my husband. What are you craving?

Workout Personalities Clashing it Out

March 25, 2011

http://www.visualphotos.com I love hubby – don’t get me wrong, but dang-it if I don’t want to work out with the guy. I hate talking during a workout. If it’s a casual walk – yes, bring on the chatter. But for all other times, I don’t want to talk. I like to sort things out [...]

November 3, 2010

> If only I meant that in a more exciting manner.. My husband snores.  And I keep asking him to go to the  doctor because he sounds like he’s dying or in pain half the time. But he won’t.  So for the past 6 months or so, I would be rudely woken up in the middle [...]
