Another acupuncturist…

I feel like I’m going through acupuncturists like they’re cheap flipflops.  In reality, I’m really just trying to find a good fit.  The first one, if you remember, I really liked him.  However, I didn’t feel like he was on the same page as I was, and I didn’t want to piddle around wasting time. I very well may end up back at his office though.

So then I moved on to a new woman in Cleveland.  She was fantastic.  She gave me great information and really monitored my cycling.  But, getting to her office was stress.  I realize that driving 40 minutes isn’t a big deal.  But for me, being in the car that long, in an area I’m not familiar with, it is. It was almost always a 3 hour ordeal (getting there, treatment, returning home) 1x a week. That’s a lot for me.  That’s an entire evening or afternoon, which in the grand scheme of things, I’m sure isn’t much. But she kept telling me to lessen stress in my life.  Going there was causing more!

So I looked around some more, and found one more place nearby that I felt comfortable with.  This third place is called Summit Acupuncture, on State road, in the Falls.  Their website mentions fertility, but I’m not sure they specialize in it.  We shall see. I’m sure I’ll have a full report after checking them out for you guys! :)

My health, my food, my exercise, my stress, and everything in between.  It was quite a long meeting (two hours, that included a session), but so informative. This week will be filled with posts about what I’m learning and passing along. [...]

A human pin cushion… no, not really

January 9, 2012

I reached out to some local tweeps and facebook friends to find a local acupuncturist to assist with my infertility. I figured I’ve given Western medicine all my faith, maybe some Chinese medicine would do the trick. I’d do headstands if someone suggested it {source} A facebook friend led me to a gentleman named Bob [...]
