Every now and then, I get a few songs stuck in my head. Lately, some old school “hits” (I say that with much reservation). I could call this Musical Monday, but it’s probably more fitted for Throwback Thursday, so that’s why it’s today 
!
So for your listening pleasure, here is what has been playing on repeat in my head the last few weeks…
“Every Rose Has Its Thorn“ Poison
I’m pretty sure this might be the only song I could ever identify as one from Poison. I only even know it because of a friend of mine bringing it to my attention years ago.
“Letting Go” Sozzi
Who doesn’t remember this from Dawson’s Creek? Seriously, I loved the show & this song.
And the last two songs, because the first two were kind of downers, will get you shrugging your shoulders 
“Moving on Up” M People
This song is actually on one of my workout playlists. Every single time I hear it I get ready to hop on a bike for a bike ride. My old spinning instructor used to play this all the time and I can’t help but get in the mood to sweat when I hear it.
And my last one, I remember hearing at swim practice one day, and it’s stuck with me years…

Seriously – this is the playlist taking up my head. Tell me that’s not the most obnoxious mix of music? hah. But it makes me smile.

Gotta say, I love anyone who references Dawson’s Creek!
I can honestly say I have never heard of any of these songs before. They’re not that bad either. Thanks for introducing me to some “new” tunes

I have a confession. I never watched Dawson’s Creek! I was so un-cool. Haha, so that’s the only song I didn’t know.
I listen to the 90′s channel on Sirius all the time. It makes my soul happy.
