I love fall. I know I say this a lot, but I really do. Thankfully, even though time is flying by, we’ve had a lot of time to check out some local parks.
B and I decided to head out to to Cascade Valley Overlook. While we were there, I thought it was a good idea to get adventurous and take the Oxbow loop. Well that didn’t last long, once we went all the way down one of the hills and took a turn, we saw the steps totally covered with leaves, and frankly, I wasn’t willing to risk it. I have bad balance, those leaves are slippery. So we will go back when it’s clear ground. But the overlook was beautiful!
While we were in columbus, we went to one of our newly discovered, favorite trails, and got to see equally beautiful views while at High Banks park. This park also has a beautiful overlook trail. The fall colors just make me giddy with happiness. I love it!
I love getting out there to enjoy the colors and the leaves while they’re still there.
