
I am so thankful to Alicia to help keep me on track during June. It’s crazy how just knowing someone else out there is looking in on your progress (or lack of) and cheering for you can help.
Well it’s now July, and July has a lot going on. I have a family vacation we are taking to Main. I don’t eat seafood, so this should be an interesting experience. None of my family other than my husband does low-carb with me, so that will also be interesting.
I also am having foot surgery the very last week of July, pretty much the end of July, I think it’s scheduled for the 30th. So I’m really hoping to up my game during July. Get tons of exercise in, knock off another 5-6pounds (obviously more would be appreciated!) so that while I’m recovering, I won’t feel like such a slug.
So my two goals for July:
1. STRENGTH training and toning. I am a master at squeezing in a little cardio here and there, but I always ignore the strength training, and I need to stop. I need to either do both, or focus on a DVD/Wii workout that includes both, because that’s not cool. So strength min 2x a week (ideally more than that, but baby steps).
2. Logging my food. I got lax at the end of June. Not acceptable. I will log min of 5days a week, but log in daily as a reminder of what I should be doing.
